Part 23

Surprise a merc guarding two Russian military doctors inside a building. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (an in-game cinematic) will play showing Lara diving, gunning down the merc, and then obtaining access codes from the doctors.

Exit the building and immediately deal with 3-4 mercs.

Approach the gate with a keypad and enter the codes.

As the gate opens, endless barrels will roll down the hill; time your run through the gate and to the left side of the road.

Run up the hill and either kill the mercs or blow up the barrels.

Enter the building and collect any necessary supplies.

Interact with the middle control panel to trigger a cutscene showing Lara accessing a database and satellite imagery revealing the next area and the train's route.

Run to the nearby ladder leading to the roof.

On the roof, stand on the open hatch and jump to the adjacent ladder, which leads to a telephone line.

Grab the telephone line and slide down it.

At the next stop, go to the left side and jump on the cable again.

At the end, on top of the first building, jump down quickly.

Engage and eliminate as many mercs as possible on your way to the train tunnel.

Reach the bike at the entrance to the train tunnel.

Get on the bike to proceed to the next section.

Warning: A potential bug has been reported where saving the game before entering the tunnel on the bike might cause the game to checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Lara mid-air if she drives off a cliff, leading to a death loop upon reloading. Saving before this point is advised.

While on the bike, keep yourself healed, prioritize health packs, and watch out for obstacles.

Use explosive gas bottles to kill enemies when possible.

Fire at enemies with a red reticle; you have unlimited ammunition.

Destroy pursuing bikes and watch out for four-wheel drive vehicles with gunners.

If you kill the gunner in a vehicle, it will cease pursuit.

Avoid vehicles attempting to ram or side-swipe you into obstacles.

When the train enters a tunnel, take the road to the right.

Holster weapons as there are no more enemies; focus on navigating the tricky road.

The road may split, with one path having a wooden suspended bridge and the other going to a higher level with signposts. Both paths have dangers.

The road will eventually intersect with the train.

Use the launch ramp to jump over the train.

On the other side of the tracks, turn right and use another ramp to return to the other side.

Ride the bike through a tunnel-like structure that rises above the train, allowing you to ride onto the train itself.

Slow down on the train and ride up the ramp onto the carriages, then down to a lower level.

A cutscene will play showing Lara dismounting the bike and proceeding to the locomotive.

The driver merc will fire at Lara, but Lara ducks as the train approaches an obstacle, killing the merc. Lara's jacket catches fire and must be removed.

An interactive sequence follows where Lara must duck from an oncoming beam inside the tunnel.

Shoot the coupling holding a giant drum to absorb the train's momentum.

Grapple to the left and swing off the train onto a platform to safety.
