Part 17

After dealing with the initial thugs, jump down to the lower level.

Before jumping down, shoot the wooden box in the area to collect a Bronze Reward (6/6).

In the next room, check a small corner room. One of the cupboards contains the last Silver Reward (4/4) for the level.

In the L-shaped room, you'll encounter a death trap. To bypass the infrared laser tripwires, grab the ball and use it as a shield while moving through the lasers. The sentry gun will shoot the ball instead of Lara. The computers in the room allow you to view security cameras.

Proceed to the next room with the dragon statue above a long table. Three shotgun-wielding thugs will enter; defeat them from a distance.

Jump onto the table and grapple the shiny metal object underneath the dragon. This will cause the dragon to smash the glass, opening the exit.

Climb to the new level and ignore the elevator for now. On a table nearby, you can collect three guns.

Before leaving this small room, find the large reddish box (resembling drawers) and bring it back to the elevator. Push it over the edge so it drops and smashes, revealing the Gold Reward (1/1) for the level.

Replenish health and ammo. Enter the elevator.

After exiting the elevator, Takamoto will appear and demonstrate the power of the sword fragment by firing a bolt of green energy.

Immediately move behind one of the large statues and climb the pole behind it to reach the upper level, avoiding the automated guns on the lower level.

Once at Takamoto's level, use your guns if he is within range (indicated by a red targeting reticle).

Takamoto fires three types of green bolts: head height (roll to avoid), knee height (jump over), and vertical (side step or run to the side).

Avoid his attacks, as each hit can take a significant portion of Lara's health.

When about 10 meters away from him, use your assault machine gun and fire continuously, while still being mindful of his bolts.

Prioritize dodging his attacks over landing hits.

After defeating Takamoto, he curses Lara. She takes the staff, snaps it, and then climbs a rope ladder onto a helicopter piloted by Nishimura. Zip informs Lara that Rutland is in Ghana, Africa.
