The Aftermath — The Alters Walkthrough

Day 1: Make It To The Base Follow red flares to find your ship. Reach the base quickly to avoid radiation. Interact with the elevator to enter the base, then go to the Communication Room to speak with Earth. Visit the Captain's Cabin to learn basic mechanics from logs, then sleep in the bed to end the day.

Day 2: Collecting Resources to Survive Exit the base through the Airlock. Gather nearby Metal deposits (orange rocks). Locate Organics (blue smoke). If the path is blocked, return to the base and use the Base Building Console in the Command Center to build a Workshop. Craft a Scanner in the Workshop. Exit the base again and find a parachute with cargo. Loot the cargo and head towards the Organics deposit. Navigate through a cave to find a Rapidium deposit near a Spire. Return to the Organics deposit, use Scanners to find the best spot, and build a Mining Outpost. Connect the outpost to the base using Pylons. Return to the Communication Room, speak to Earth, and build the "Womb" module. Interact with the Womb to get a Sheep. Speak to Earth one last time, then sleep in the Captain's Cabin.

Day 3: Gather the New Resources To Leave Fast travel to the Mining Outpost and gather Organics to fill your tank. Return to the base and sleep in the Captain's Cabin. Be mindful of the 22:00 Radiation Storm and return to base before it hits.

Day 4: Move On To The Next Act In the Command Center, build a Kitchen. Craft at least 6 Mush meals. Ensure your Organics tank is full by checking the panel in the Command Room. Once ready, use the console in the Command Center to move the base to the next chapter. Explore the current area thoroughly before leaving, as you cannot return.
