The Escape — The Alters Walkthrough

Complete walkthrough for The Escape in The Alters. Learn how to survive the crash, gather resources, build your base, and prepare to move on to the next chapter.

Walkthrough:

1. Day 1: Make It To The Base - Follow emergency flares to reach your ship. Interact with the elevator to enter the base. Head to the Communication Room to contact Earth, then visit the Captain's Cabin for lore and basic mechanics. End the day by interacting with the bed.
2. Day 2: Collecting Resources to Survive - Exit the base via the Airlock. Gather Metal deposits (orange glowing rocks) and locate Organics (blue glowing rocks indicated by blue smoke). Return to the base and use the Base Building Console in the Command Center to build a Workshop. Craft a Scanner within the Workshop.
3. Day 2 (Continued): - Exit the base again and head towards the blue smoke. Loot cargo pods found on cliffsides for essential items, including a Multitool. Navigate through a cave to find a glowing spire and extract Rapidium. Locate the Organics deposit and use Scanners to find the best mining spot. Place a Mining Outpost and connect it to the base using Pylons.
