Craft weapons and defenses in Stranded Deep. Learn to make Crude Spears, Refined Spears, and the Spear Gun for survival against island threats.

Defense is crucial against the many dangers of Stranded Deep. Your first weapon will likely be a Crude Spear (1 Stick, 1 Stone Tool, 1 Rope). Upgrade to a Refined Spear (1 Stick, 1 Refined Blade, 1 Lashing) for significantly more damage. The Spear Gun (2 Scrap Metal, 1 Plastic, 1 Lashing) is excellent for underwater combat, requiring Spear Gun Ammo (crafted from Scrap Metal). For ranged combat on land, the Bow (3 Sticks, 1 Lashing) with Refined Arrows (1 Stick, 1 Refined Blade, 1 Feather) is effective. While there's no traditional armor, a Leather Shield (2 Leather, 1 Wood Stick, 1 Lashing) can provide some protection against land creatures. Always be prepared for combat, especially when exploring new areas or diving shipwrecks.
