Your immediate goal after understanding the UI is to craft your first essential tools. Start by gathering 2 Rocks and 1 Stick to craft a Stone Tool. This versatile tool acts as a basic axe, knife, and pickaxe. Use it to chop down small trees for more sticks and fibrous leaves, and to harvest larger rocks. Next, craft a Crude Axe (1 Stick, 1 Stone Tool, 1 Rope) and a Crude Knife (1 Stick, 1 Stone Tool, 1 Rope). Rope can be crafted from 4 Fibrous Leaves. With these tools, you can gather more efficiently. For shelter, a simple Lean-to (4 Sticks, 4 Palm Fronds) will protect you from the elements and allow you to save your game. Prioritize building this before nightfall to avoid exposure and potential predators. A basic shelter is your first step towards establishing a sustainable base.
