Gather vital loot from shipwrecks in Stranded Deep. Learn necessary gear like the Crude Knife and Rebreather for successful underwater expeditions and avoiding.

Shipwrecks are scattered across the ocean floor and are vital for progression. Before diving, ensure you have a Crude Knife or Refined Knife for cutting open crates, and ideally, a Flippers (2 Plastic, 2 Cloth) for faster swimming. A Rebreather (2 Plastic, 1 Cloth, 1 Scrap Metal) or multiple Air Tanks (crafted from Scrap Metal) are essential for extended dives. Be wary of sharks patrolling shipwrecks; a Refined Spear or Spear Gun (2 Scrap Metal, 1 Plastic, 1 Lashing) is recommended for defense. Look for crates, lockers, and shelves within the wrecks. Common loot includes Scrap Metal, Plastic, Cloth, Duct Tape, and sometimes rare items like Engine Parts or Fuel. Always check every nook and cranny, as valuable items can be hidden.
