Stormgate is a key location in Elden Ring, serving as a heavily guarded passage into the Stormhill region of Limgrave. While it doesn't contain unique quest items or bosses, it offers several valuable resources and equipment for players early in their journey.

1. Gatefront Ruins Area: Just before the main Stormgate path, a chariot can be found. Opening the chest on this chariot rewards players with the Lordsworn's Greatsword.
2. Stormgate Path - Gatherable Items: As you approach and traverse the Stormgate, you can gather various common crafting materials. These include Herba, Mushroom, Rowa Fruit, and Ruin Fragment.
3. Stormgate Path - Consumables: Keep an eye out for Pickled Turtle Neck and Golden Rune [1] scattered along the path.
4. Stormgate Path - Ammunition: Players can find Lordsworn's Bolt dropped by the archer soldiers guarding the area.
5. Stormgate Path - Upgrade Material: The primary upgrade material found here is Smithing Stone (1).
6. Stormgate Path - Equipment: Among the enemies and scattered items, you can find the Arrow's Reach Talisman, which increases the range of arrows.

Note: While the Stormgate is heavily guarded by Trolls and Soldiers, it is possible to bypass most of the combat by using the Spectral Steed Whistle and riding your horse through the area.
