Raya Lucaria Academy Bosses

Crystalian (Ringblade)

Location: Academy Crystal Cave.

This crystalline foe is resistant to most physical damage. Its attacks are swift and can be difficult to predict. Magic damage or blunt weapons are more effective.

Strategy:

• Use blunt weapons or magic: Physical slashing/piercing is less effective.
• Dodge its spinning attacks: These have a wide radius.
• Exploit openings after its combos: It's slow to recover.

Moongrum, Carian Knight

Location: Raya Lucaria Academy (as an invader).

A skilled knight who uses Carian sorceries and swordplay. He's a tough duelist who can parry your attacks.

Strategy:

• Be patient: Wait for clear openings.
• Watch for his spells: Dodge his Glintstone spells.
• If you can parry, do so: His openings after parries are significant.

Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

Location: Grand Library, Raya Lucaria Academy.

Rennala is a two-phase boss. The first phase involves her floating and summoning spectral enemies while she shields herself with a magical barrier. The second phase sees her become more aggressive with powerful sorceries.

Strategy:

• Phase 1: Focus on breaking her shield by attacking the spectral enemies she summons. Use Spirit Ashes to help manage them.
• Phase 2: Dodge her powerful sorceries, especially the Full Moon. Use the pillars for cover.
• Intelligence-based builds: This fight can be challenging for pure melee.

Other Liurnia Bosses

Glintstone Dragon Smarag

Location: Lake Liurnia.

A large dragon that breathes Glintstone breath. It's often found sleeping, allowing for a surprise attack.

Strategy:

• Attack its head: This is its weak point.
• Watch for its breath attack: Dodge to the side or get behind it.
• Use Torrent: Riding Torrent allows for easier evasion and positioning.

Night's Cavalry

Location: Lake Liurnia (appears at night).

This boss rides a spectral steed and wields a large polearm. It's a fast and aggressive opponent.

Strategy:

• Fight at night: It only appears after dark.
• Focus on dodging: Its attacks are quick and relentless.
• Use Spirit Ashes: They can help distract the horse.

Grave Warden Duelist (variant)

Location: Black Knife Catacombs.

A tougher variant of the Limgrave boss, often accompanied by other enemies.

Strategy:

• Clear out adds first: Deal with the smaller enemies before focusing on the Duelist.
• Same strategies as Limgrave version: Stay close and punish recovery.
