Part 8

After the opening cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) where Gnasty Gnorc freezes dragons and turns their treasure into soldiers, you begin.

Immediately ahead, walk onto the platform to free Nestor, the first dragon. He explains you need to free 9 more dragons and find the balloonist.

Turn around, take the left path down the slope. Collect the two red gems.

Turn slightly left and jump across the series of platforms. Collect the gem on the first, two gems on the second, and two gems on the third.

Jump to the highest platform, collect the two green gems (each counts as 2 gems), then jump off back to the ground.

Turn right and approach the green Gem Thief Gnorc. Chase it and attack with flame (O button) or charge ([] button). Defeat it to get a red gem. Hit it twice more to get two more red gems.

Collect the nearby gems, two more near the water, and four red gems on a platform.

Turn left and step on the platform to free Delbin. He explains that the yellow dragonfly, Sparx, is your health meter.

If Sparx is hit, he turns blue, then green. If hit again, he disappears. A third hit makes you lose a life and respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) at the last checkpoint (dragon or level start). Losing all lives results in a Game Over, losing unsaved data and respawning at the game's start.

Turn right, collect three red gems on the hill, and flame a Scardey Gnorc before it runs away to get a purple gem (counts as 5 red gems).

Enter the bushy area. Take the left path for red gems. In the middle, find a red-brown chest (contains a green gem) and a purple chest (contains a life). A portal to 'Dark Hollow' is also here.

Exit the bushy area, collect two more gems.

Run over the hill to find two more Scardey Gnorcs and a portal to 'Stone Hill'. Chase down the gnorcs for their gems.

Turn around to face a platform. Jump (X button, holding down gains height) and press X again at the peak to glide. Steer your glide. Tap Triangle to drop from the glide. Collect two red and two green gems on the platform. The red chest contains another green gem.

Drop to the right, run along the wall into a hidden area.

Collect two red gems and four green gems from four red chests.

If Sparx is not yellow, flame or charge the sheep here to release a butterfly for Sparx to eat and heal himself.

Release Argus next to the sheep. He explains the Artisans boss is behind the stone dragon's mouth and requires entering and exiting Stone Hill, Dark Hollow, or Town Square to reach.
