Part 37

From your starting grassy island, approach the Large Winged Guy and Large Armoured Guy. The magic blast will shrink the Large Winged Guy into a Small Winged Guy. Flame them in either form, but you must flame them when they are large. The Large Winged Guy drops a purple gem. The Large Armoured Guy will shrink into a Small Armoured Guy, which you must defeat by charging. It drops a purple gem, revealing two green gems.

On the same island, find three red gems. Glide to the next island, which has a portal. Flame the Winged Guy as you land for a purple gem.

Charge open two metal chests to the left for 4 gems. Jump over the stream, passing the 'Dark Passage' portal. Grab two green gems and break the wooden chest for a purple gem.

When the Armoured Guy is in Small Armoured Guy form, charge it for a golden gem. Go left and grab three red gems on the edge.

Go back and jump onto the whirlwind. Spyro will automatically glide to the next island, the largest in the level. Destroy a pair of wooden chests by the wall for 4 gems.

Go through the entryway of the wall and right to find three red gems on the edge. Turn around and defeat the Small Winged Guy for a purple gem.

In the corner to the left of the Small Winged Guy is an explosive chest next to two wooden ones. Flame the explosive chest, then stand back and wait for it to destroy the wooden chests, revealing 12 gems.

Turn around and go into the next area with the 'Lofty Castle' portal.

Grab three red gems along the pool. Jump over and smash two wooden chests for 4 gems. Glide over to the last bit and charge the metal chest duo for 6 gems. Glide back to mainland.

Run back out of this area and onto the main level path where the next few enemies are. Flame the Winged Guy for a green gem. Grab three red gems along the stream edge.

To the right, you will see two Large Armoured Guys blocking stairs. These will not shrink, so leave them for now. Jump over the stream. Watch the pattern of the three Armoured Guys in line; they will shrink one by one and then swell again. As soon as the first one shrinks, charge through all of them for 9 gems.

Jump over the stream to the right, and right again for three red gems behind a rock. Go around the corner and smash the wooden chest for a purple gem.

Go back over the stream and glide to the island in view. Flame the three Winged Guys there for 17 gems. Scour the island for the other 11 gems scattered around.

Take the whirlwind to get up to the platform in the middle. Here you will see a Small Winged Guy behind a resizing cannon. Chase it around, collecting three purple gems, then flame it for a golden gem.

Use the cannon. Aim by pushing it from either side, then flame it to fire. The shots will hit enemies if they are close enough in line. Shrink the two Large Armoured Guys blocking the stairs and another on the island.
