Part 18

Glide from the starting area to the distant cliffs over the river.

Collect 15 gems to the left near a cactus.

Hug the cliff to find your first Agile Bird; defeat it with flames when it attacks. It drops a purple gem.

Collect a green gem in the distance, then another green gem to the left.

Defeat another Agile Bird for a green gem.

Go left to find another Agile Bird, defeat it for a purple gem.

Collect a loose green gem slightly to the left.

Turn about 130 degrees right to face another green gem.

Run towards it, avoiding Agile Birds, and flame one for a green gem.

Continue forward to sneak up on another Agile Bird for a purple gem.

Collect the two green gems next to it.

Turn around and run to collect two green gems while avoiding two Agile Birds that attack one at a time; one drops green, the other purple.

From where you glide to the cliffs, follow the left wall around, go straight ahead, and up the slope to find Marco. He states you are at the highest point in Cliff Town.

Glide to the building shaped as two squares to the left and destroy the two chests for a golden gem each.

Turn left 90 degrees to face lower buildings. Glide to one for a wooden chest with a golden gem.

Locate a firecracker on this lower building. Jump high and flame it to trigger it, or use the whirlwind below Marco's location to glide over.

The firecracker will smash a strong chest seen earlier.

Head into the area where you found an extra life to find a new whirlwind.

Use this whirlwind to return to the top of the big building.

Go right slightly, then jump down to find the strong chest replaced by 25 gems.

Return to the whirlwind that leads back to Marco, but go just left of it. Behind the building, find a wooden chest with a green gem inside.

Head back up the whirlwind. From the highest point of Cliff Town, turn right.

Glide to the lower bit of a nearby tall building and collect the two chests on top for 20 gems.

Turn around and glide to the building that had a chest hidden behind it to collect 7 gems on top.

Go back up the whirlwind. Head left towards the building you started in, just before the invisible barrier.

Collect two red gems by the side of the building.

Glide to the platform just behind them and drop down to find yourself behind the building.

Collect about 7 red gems and a metal chest with a pink gem inside.

Jump up off the other side and down to get two red gems.

Run around the other side of the building to get the two red gems seen earlier.

Go back to the top of the big building at the other end and go straight ahead to find the 'Return Home' vortex near many gems.

Charge open the metal chests on the right for 20 gems.

Collect the two loose green gems beside them.

Collect 15 gems from the wooden chests on either side of the vortex.

If you still need gems, glide from the cliffs, explore them, or flame all cauldrons.

Exit via the 'Return Home' vortex when done.
