Tips
- Holding up or down on the analog stick lets you see further in that direction.
- You will take fall damage if you land on a tile at the bottom edge of the screen or lower; avoid this by landing on an enemy, grabbing a ledge, or grabbing a climbable object.
- Time your jumps carefully when approaching ledges with low ceilings to avoid hitting your head.
- To quickly get off a ledge, walk off and immediately flip around to grab it.
- Doors that are two tiles high are level exits, while one-tile high doors are backroom doors.
- Doors provide invincibility frames upon entering, offering a brief moment of safety.
- Your feet can be used as a weapon by jumping on enemies.
- Enemies and NPCs have stun states; the whip causes a longer stun than other attacks.
- All entities have a brief moment of invincibility after taking a hit.
- Ropes deal 1 damage and stun when thrown into an enemy.
- Bombs travel further than other thrown objects and can be repositioned by whipping or picking them up.
