This section details strategies for several bosses encountered in Part 25, many of which are repeats or variations of previous encounters.
BOSS: BLUE KNIGHT II
Moves:
- A lightning bolt will cast before he appears.
- He can send three flames across the ground.
- He can cast lightning down at you.
- He can slash upward with his sword.
- He will walk forward at you. Touching him is more deadly than his real attacks.
Strategy:
This is the third of four boss-repeat encounters. The strategy used for his previous form should work here, despite visual and attack differences.
BOSS: GIANT DRAGON II
Moves:
- He can fire four energy balls in different directions.
- He can fire several energy crescents that arc upwards.
- He can ram you with his head, resulting in instant death.
- He will fly up and down to the right of the blocks you're on.
Strategy:
This boss returns, and the area is the same as before. Use the same strategy as the previous encounter, as there are no differences.
BOSS: PURPLE MAGICIAN
Moves:
- He will stand still and throw energy balls slowly. If they explode, you'll get hurt no matter where you are, and he'll restore health.
Strategy:
This boss is very easy. Stand in front of him and punch. Wait for a red energy ball to appear, punch it to destroy it without taking damage or allowing him to heal. He can be defeated quickly with little effort.
BOSS: PURPLE KNIGHT
Moves:
- He can walk forward and try to hit you.
- He can jump through the air and try to land on you.
- He can fire several red balls at you in any direction.
- He can jump into the air and fire red balls in many directions.
- He can throw his sword forward or at an angle; it will return to his hand.
Strategy:
This boss is very difficult. You can only hurt him by hitting his head or face. Use teamwork: start with Golem to jump and punch him, then switch to Mouse and get away quickly. When he jumps at you, jump in front of his landing spot as Mouse and bomb him. On the ground as Mouse, jump and bomb his head. If he gets too close, switch to a character with more health to get away, possibly landing a hit or two. Switch back to Mouse for more damage. Sometimes, three bombs can hit his head simultaneously. To avoid his attacks, the most dangerous is when he hovers and sends out many energy balls. Stay in a corner and wait for him to land. For other attacks, you can usually jump and bomb him.
