Walkthrough

    At the start of the Purple Knight fight, jump and punch him with Golem, then immediately switch to Mouse and move away.

    When the Purple Knight jumps at you, jump in front of its landing spot as Mouse and use a bomb.

    Once on the ground, while still as Mouse, jump and bomb the Purple Knight's head.

    If the Purple Knight gets too close on the ground, switch to a character with more health (like Golem) to get away and potentially land a hit or two.

    Switch back to Mouse when safe to deal more damage. You may get lucky and have three bombs hit its head at once.

    To avoid the Purple Knight's attacks, stay in a corner when it hovers and fires energy balls, waiting for it to land. For other attacks, jump and bomb it.

    To start Falling Castle, switch to Dragon and hover over the spike pit to the right.

    Switch to Mouse and crawl through the hole in the wall.

    Inside the cave, head to the right wall, then jump up to the stairs on the left.

    Switch to Lickle and jump along the ledges to reach a second stairway.

    Be careful of an upcoming explosion.

    Climb the second set of stairs on the right, wait for another explosion, then head up more stairs on the left.

    At the top, switch to Dragon or Lickle (whichever has more health) and jump along the ledges in the air to reach the top.

    Warning: There is a flashing wall on your right. One hit will kill anyone, even Golem.

    To pass the flashing wall, take the character with the most health, get hit by a rock to become invincible, and walk through the wall to the right before the invincibility wears off.

    You will see a short (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) and have earned the *real* ending of Samson.

Monster List:

  • Balloon Monster: Runs up to you and spits out a large balloon/orb that rolls at you. They run away quickly.
    • Attacks needed to Kill: Lickle x1, Dragon x1, Golem x1, Mouse x1
  • Bird: Hovers up and down (in groups of three) or flies forward (if alone).
    • Attacks needed to Kill: Lickle x1, Dragon x1, Golem x1, Mouse x1
  • Blob: Drips from holes in platforms, bounces at you when on the ground.
Tips
  • The Purple Knight can only be hurt by hitting its head or face.
  • Use teamwork to defeat the Purple Knight.
  • For the Purple Knight's attacks, jumping and bombing it is generally effective, except for the aerial energy ball attack.
  • Stay in the corner to avoid the Purple Knight's aerial energy ball attack.
  • The flashing wall in Falling Castle requires you to intentionally get hit by a rock to gain temporary invincibility.
  • If you fail one method of crossing spikes in Falling Castle, try the other.
