Rojas Desert North is home to several Discoveries, including Drug Pallets, Dumpster Dives, Lost Wheels, Weather Stations, and Photo Hunts. Many of these are in elevated or hard-to-reach locations, making a helicopter the ideal vehicle for exploration.

All Drug Pallets in Rojas Desert North

There are four groups of three Drug Pallets scattered throughout Rojas Desert North. These are typically found on rooftops or other elevated areas. Collecting them grants cash and XP.

• Southwestern corner, near the Snake Oil Saloon Sign Photo Hunt.
• Northwestern corner, near a rail bridge.
• Southwest of the center, near a lake with a Lost Wheel.
• Northeastern corner, near a bridge spanning a lake.

All Dumpster Dive Locations in Rojas Desert North

There is one Dumpster Dive in Rojas Desert North, located behind a gas station in the south-center of the map, east of the Thunderpump Sign Photo Hunt. This dive yields the Recycler SMG visual mod.

All Lost Wheels Locations in Rojas Desert North

Rojas Desert North contains eight Lost Wheels. These are metal pinwheels that can be found by looking for motes of light. A helicopter is recommended for reaching these, as many are in elevated positions.

• Dual Nitrous Injectors (Bones of Kavanagh County): Southwest of the center, near a lake with three Drug Pallets.
• Crutches (A Bike Wrapped in Mystery): Western end, northeast of the Bored Clerks Shooting Gallery.
• Oversized, Heavy-Duty Tires (Bones of Kavanagh County): Northwestern corner, overlooking a rail bridge.
• Ship’s Helm (Ghost of the Frying Dutchman): North of the center, near the Sky Canyon Hidden History Discovery, on an elevated scenic overlook.
• Main Mast (Ghost of the Frying Dutchman): Southwest of the Bison Memorial Photo Hunt, on a rocky outcropping.
• Gunpowder Cannons (Ghost of the Frying Dutchman): Northeastern corner, north of a highway northeast of the Bison Memorial Photo Hunt.
• Wooden Hull (Ghost of the Frying Dutchman): Northeastern corner, on a mesa reached by air, southeast of the Kavanagh County Park Service shop.
• Fryer of the Deep (Ghost of the Frying Dutchman): Northeastern end, near a lake east of the highway northeast of the Bison Memorial Photo Hunt.

Search the southwestern end of the region for the Snake Oil Saloon. The target for this Photo Hunt is its iconic snake sign, located northeast of the saloon.

How to Find and Complete the Thunderpump Sign Photo Hunt

Follow the road northeast from the Snake Oil Saloon to find a Thunderpump gas station. The Thunderpump lightning bolt sign is located in front of the station. The region’s only Dumpster Dive is behind this gas station.

How to Find and Complete the Bison Memorial Photo Hunt

From the Thunderpump gas station, follow the road northeast and then east. Head up to an elevated parking lot marked by railing. Find the bison statue on the northern end of the parking lot, near the railing, and snap a photo.

How to Find and complete the Sky Canyon Hidden History

One of two Hidden History sites in the region, the Sky Canyon Hidden History is located northwest of the center of the map. Activate the large board in the center of the search area.
