Alright, so you've picked up the 'Even More Pest Control Request' in Chapter 14 of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and now you're wondering where on earth those pesky rats are hiding in the Waste Disposal area. Don't worry, I've got your back! The blue note you need for this request is chilling near the Merchant after you've pushed through the Waste Disposal section. Once you've got it, it's time to backtrack and hunt down those little critters.

The game does give you a general idea on the map, but let's break down exactly where to find each one.

Rat 1 Location

Head west from where you last saw the Merchant, then make your way back north into the main Waste Disposal area. As soon as you step foot in there, you should be able to hear the first rat. Look down to your left; there's usually one scurrying around right there. If for some reason it's not, it might have scampered off down the path to the south, so give that a quick look.

Rat 2 Location

To get to the other rats, you'll need Ashley's help. Have her raise the bridge using the wheel nearby. She'll need to hang out there while you cross over to hunt the remaining rats. Once the bridge is up, cross it, and you'll find the second rat waiting for you directly opposite. Honestly, you might even spot this one from the other side of the bridge before you even cross!

Rat 3 Location

For the third rat, take the doorway to the north from where you found the second rat. Follow that path around until you reach the longer bridge – the one that leads back towards the area where you had that rather unpleasant encounter with a Regenerador. Cross this bridge, turn right, and then look to your left. Yep, there's the third rat chilling out.

Rat 4 Location

This last rat is in the same general vicinity as the third one. They tend to hang out and scuffle around the same spots. Just keep your eyes peeled and scanning the ground in this area. Listening for its squeaks will definitely help you pinpoint its exact location.
