This section details the Gallery room within the Spencer Mansion in Resident Evil (1996). It serves as a hub to other key locations and contains items necessary for progression. Differences exist between the original 1996 version and the 2002 remake.

• Gallery Key (1996): Found on a small table near the wasp nest in the alcove.
• Gallery Key (2002): Located on a cabinet over the wasp nest. Requires Insecticide Spray to clear the wasps.
• Insecticide Spray (2002): Found on the corpse of a researcher in the hallway leading to the wasp nest.
• V-JOLT: Can be created in the pharmacy/chemical storage room accessible from the Gallery.

Guide:

1. Initially, doors from the Gallery are locked.
2. 1996 Version: Obtain the key to Room 002 from a table in the alcove. Be cautious of spawning wasps.
3. 2002 Version: Retrieve the Insecticide Spray from a researcher's corpse. Use it on the wasp nest in the Dormitory corridor to clear the wasps and obtain the key to Room 003.
