The Exchange

You've made it to the Exchange, a tricky spot where you'll need to manage your inventory carefully. Don't worry, we'll get you through it.

Objective

The main goal here is to retrieve the Key from the locked room. You'll need to use the Hookshot to get it.

Walkthrough

As soon as you enter, you'll likely encounter some Leeches. Take them out quickly. The room is divided into two main areas: a larger open space and a smaller locked room.

In the larger area, you'll find a Save Room with a Typewriter. It's a good idea to save your progress here. You'll also find some useful items scattered around, so be sure to explore thoroughly.

Now, for the locked room. You can't open it directly. Instead, you'll need to find a way to access the item inside. Look for a small opening or a mechanism that allows you to use an item from your inventory.

This is where the Hookshot comes in. If you don't have it yet, you'll need to backtrack to find it. Once you have the Hookshot, return to the Exchange. Aim it at the item in the locked room (the Key) and use it to pull it towards you.

With the Key in hand, you can now progress further. Be prepared for more enemies as you move on.
