Alright, welcome to Part 24! We're heading into the guts of the Enrichment Center now, so things are gonna get a bit more industrial and less like a sterile test chamber. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. It's all about understanding how GLaDOS uses the environment against you, and how we can use it to our advantage.

Walkthrough

You'll start by riding a piston up. At the top, you'll find a hallway. Shoot a portal on the wall here, then shoot your other portal on a wall further down the hall. Just walk through to get to the next area.

As you enter the next hallway, keep an eye out to your left. You'll spot a Commentary Node floating there.

Continue forward until you reach an edge. Just run and fall off. Keep going straight.

You'll come across some pistons. The commentary here is interesting – it talks about how they break up the pacing with simpler, timed challenges. There are two commentary nodes between the pistons; one is at the bottom, and the other is at the top.

Now, turn to face the platform to your left. You'll see a piston moving horizontally. Shoot a portal on the white ceiling to your right, and then shoot your other portal on the ceiling above either of the pistons. Ride the piston up.

When you land on the white platform, jump across to it. Turn around to face the giant wall behind you. Look all the way up to the very top of this wall and shoot a portal there. Then, shoot your other portal at the floor right beneath you. As you fall, shoot a portal where you'll land. The idea is to get flung to the far platform.

Keep moving forward until you see a bunch of pistons sticking out of a wall. Shoot a portal on the far wall, then shoot your other portal on the wall right in front of you. Go through.

Approach these pistons. When both pistons retract downwards, shoot a portal on the wall behind them. Then, go back through the portal you came in from.

Once you're back, look up at the wall far above the doorway where the pistons were. You'll see a small strip of white wall. Shoot a portal there. Then, shoot your other portal on any nearby wall. When two pistons come together below you, forming a kind of ground, go through the portal.

Quickly shoot a portal on the white floor across from you. You can either go back through the portal behind you or fall back down and go through the portal there. Run over to the cube delivery tube and drop down on the right side. Walk all the way down the pipe until you reach the end, then drop down onto the pipe just above the water.

Tips

Pay attention to the commentary nodes! They give you some neat insights into the game's design and GLaDOS's personality.
The piston sections can be tricky. Don't be afraid to experiment with portal placement if you don't get flung correctly the first time. The key is often finding the right angle and timing.
When you have to shoot a portal at your feet and then at the landing spot, make sure you're aiming precisely. The momentum is crucial here.
