Part 14

Complete Portal Part 14 using the quick or proper way, including commentary nodes and the energy ball puzzle.

There are two ways to solve this chamber: the quick way and the proper way.

Quick Way

1. Place a portal near the piston at the T-Junction.
2. Run up the stairs and wait for them to sink back down.
3. Shoot a portal at the ground below and jump through it.
4. While going up, move the analog stick to the right to land on the piston.
5. Rejoin the walkthrough at "*".

Proper Way

1. Run up the stairs and turn left.
2. Shoot a portal near the base of the black block in the corner.
3. Walk back to the edge of the pit and shoot a portal down at the floor below.
4. Jump into the portal.
5. While going up, move the analog stick to send yourself flying back on top of the block.
6. While on top of the black block, it is near the corner facing the rest of that room.
7. Grab the box here.
8. Jump back down with the box and retrace your steps over to the T-Junction at the start of the level.
9. Place the box on the button to open the newly opened door.
10. Follow the corridor until you reach a room with water and some pistons moving up and down.
11. Jump across the pistons as they are going up (do not use portals here).
12. Do not enter the next room with too much haste, as there is an energy ball that will kill you.
13. Shoot a portal where the energy ball hits the wall.
14. Jump back across and head all the way back to the stairs.
15. At the top, shoot the opposite colored portal above the energy ball receptacle.
16. Walk over to the piston and get on.

Commentary Node

• While on top of the black block, it is near the corner facing the rest of that room.
• While standing in the doorway, it will be in the middle of the next room.

Test Chamber 15 (TC15)

Run to the panel.

Continue around the corner to where you see an energy field above a wall.

Camera Shy

• While standing in the doorway, look towards the ceiling and to the right.
