    After heading up the stairs, you will find a Commentary Node floating in front of you, up a few more stairs near some windows.

    Look left to see a panel with four hazards you've encountered before.

    Shoot a portal on the wall, but do not go through it immediately. Wait for it to show a button and some ground before you walk through it, or else you will die.

Tips
  • The Commentary Node near the start explains that testers would leap blindly to their doom, so the moral is 'look before you leap.' The safe orange portal was out of view from the balcony, forcing players to peer through a portal to see it, training remote-viewing capabilities.
