Unlockables

Master unlockables in Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition. Earn Run Ability upgrades and defensive towers by completing special campaign levels on Tiki and Toki Islands.

Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition features several key unlockables that enhance your character's abilities and expand your defensive options. These are typically earned by completing specific 'Special' levels within the campaign. The requirements for unlocking these abilities and towers are consistent across both Tiki Island (original levels) and Toki Island (Encore expansion levels).

Run Ability

• Unlock Requirement: Complete Special 1 level.
• Effect: Allows your character to move faster by holding down the Circle button (or its PC equivalent, typically Shift). This is invaluable for quickly collecting Coins, reaching towers for manual upgrades, or repositioning yourself on larger maps.

Remote Mines

• Unlock Requirement: Complete Special 2 level.
• Effect: Grants the ability to place and detonate remote mines by pressing the Square button (or its PC equivalent, typically F or G, depending on customization). Remote mines are powerful, single-use explosives that can be strategically placed to deal massive damage to groups of monsters or high-health targets. They are particularly useful for clearing chokepoints or as a last-resort defense against monsters nearing your base.

Lightning Tower

• Unlock Requirement: Complete Special 3 level.
• Effect: Unlocks the Lightning Tower for construction. The Lightning Tower is a high-damage, area-of-effect tower that excels at clearing large groups of monsters, especially those with high health. Its chain lightning effect makes it incredibly efficient against clustered enemies.

Prioritizing the completion of these Special levels is highly recommended to gain access to these powerful tools and abilities early in your playthrough, as they significantly impact your strategic options and overall effectiveness.
