How to Beat Boss: The Eldritch Horror

Master the Eldritch Horror boss fight in Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition. Learn its stats, weaknesses, phases, and the best strategies to emerge victorious and claim your rewards.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• High Health Pool: Requires sustained damage output.
• Elemental Vulnerability: Weak to Fire and Ice damage.
• Weak Points: Glowing orbs that appear on its body during specific attack animations.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Tentacle Barrage: The Eldritch Horror attacks with sweeping tentacle strikes and projectile vomits. It is mostly stationary during this phase, making it a good time to target its weak points when they appear.
2. Phase 2: Minion Summon: The boss summons smaller Eldritch Spawn to overwhelm the player. Prioritize clearing these adds quickly to avoid being surrounded. The boss itself becomes more mobile and aggressive.
3. Phase 3: Eldritch Beam: The boss charges and fires a devastating beam attack. Players must find cover or use high mobility to dodge this attack. The boss is vulnerable immediately after firing the beam.
4. Phase 4: Desperation: The boss enters an enraged state, attacking more rapidly and frequently. All previous attack patterns are amplified. Focus fire on the boss during any brief openings.

Strategy:

• Equip weapons with high damage per shot, such as Sniper Rifles or Heavy weapons, to exploit weak points. Shotguns are effective for clearing summoned minions.
• Utilize weapons with Fire or Ice elemental damage to exploit its elemental weaknesses.
• Keep moving at all times to avoid the boss's area-of-effect attacks and tentacle sweeps.
• Learn the visual and audio cues for each of the boss's attacks, especially the Eldritch Beam charge-up.
• Prioritize destroying summoned minions in Phase 2 to prevent being overwhelmed.
• Use any available mobility gadgets (e.g., Jetpack, Grappling Hook) to quickly reposition and dodge attacks.
• Conserve ammo for its weak points; unload your most powerful weapons when they are exposed.
