Discover all wild Palworld egg spawn locations, egg types, and the specific Pals that hatch from Common, Damp, Dark, Dragon, Electric, Frozen, Rocky, Scorching, and Verdant eggs.

Eggs in Palworld appear to have set spawn points, often found along river edges or near mountain peaks. These are distinct from the small white eggs used solely for cooking. Egg spawns rotate, so an egg may not appear in the same spot for a few in-game days. While there are approximately 100 potential egg spawn locations, our tests showed only a few eggs reappearing within a 30-day period, and their types seemed to change. Egg types can also be somewhat randomized; we consistently found Fire and Ground eggs near the ocean. Colder regions tend to yield more Frozen Eggs, while Dragon and Scorching Eggs spawn near volcanoes. Verdant Eggs are found in forests in the middle of the map, and Water Eggs near rivers, suggesting some type-specific spawn presets. Common Eggs are the most frequent, while Dragon Eggs are rare. Huge and Large eggs have lower spawn rates than regular-sized ones. There are 30 different egg types, corresponding to three sizes across ten Pal typings. The shell's coloring and the egg's size upon pickup indicate its type, ensuring you won't get an unwanted egg type.

Huge Eggs spawn in more challenging-to-reach areas. For instance, a Huge Dragon Egg might require a flying mount to access cliffs and mountains around the volcano. There's no guarantee a Huge Egg will spawn even at a known location; you might find a normal or Large Egg instead. Your best strategy is to periodically fly around higher-level and elevated areas to spot Huge Eggs.

Keep in mind that Huge Eggs can take up to 40 hours to hatch in an incubator. This duration can be lengthy, especially since hatching time often only accumulates while actively playing the game on player-run servers. If this is too long for your playstyle, you can adjust the egg hatch time in your world settings before logging in.

While we are still gathering data on Palworld eggs, and this information may change in future updates, we have a basic understanding of which Pals hatch from each egg type. Each Pal type corresponds to a specific egg type; for example, to find a Gobfin, you'll need to hatch Damp Eggs. More common Pals seem to have a higher hatch rate, while rarer Pals have roughly half the chance of hatching. The table below lists all possible Pals that can hatch from each wild egg type. Note that Lux Pals do not appear to spawn from Wild Eggs and seem to originate from bred eggs.

Given the vast number of Pals that can hatch from eggs, it's recommended to pick up eggs whenever possible. Prioritize Large and Huge Eggs if inventory space is limited, as they are rarer spawns and can yield rarer Pals. Remember that every hatched Pal will start at level one. All of these Pals can be found in the wild.
