Destroyed Mineshaft Location: Astegon, Ravager of Stars, can be found as an Alpha Boss within the Destroyed Mineshaft. This location is west of the Mount Obsidian Eagle Statue. Be prepared for the heat by equipping the highest heat-resistant armor and shirt. A light source is recommended due to the darkness, though not strictly necessary if you continue downwards. It is advised to use a Hyper Sphere at minimum, with a Legendary Sphere being recommended for capture. To reach this area, teleport to the Mount Obsidian Midpoint and travel west.

No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary Location: Astegon can also be found as a rare spawn on the small island of the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, located off the northeastern coast of the Dessicated Desert. The nearest fast travel point is the Deep Sand Dunes, from which you can fly northeast. This island is also home to other notable Pals such as Lyleen, Blazamut, Orserk, Faleris, Fengelope, and Bushi. Be aware that this sanctuary has a crime system; entering will be considered trespassing, and guards will attack if they see you. Killing them will increase your wanted level.
