Capture Paladius and Necromus in palworld at X:447 Y:679 in the Dessicated Desert. Use Dark/Dragon pals and bring 100-150 rockets.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Locate Paladius and Necromus in the northern Dessicated Desert at coordinates X:447 Y:679. The easiest way to reach them is by teleporting to the Deep Sand Dunes waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) and flying north/northwest.
  2. 2
Warning: This is a difficult battle. Prepare with the best gear and Pals.
  3. 3
Consider fighting at night. Paladius sleeps at night, allowing you to fight Necromus one-on-one. Necromus is nocturnal and will be awake.
  4. 4
Equip the Legendary Rocket Launcher (or regular version if schematic is unavailable) and Assault Rifle.
  5. 5
Wear both Cold-resistant and Heat-resistant Pal Metal Armors, as you may need to switch them mid-battle due to temperature changes.
  6. 6
Equip the Hyper Shield for defense.
  7. 7
Bring accessories like the Life Pendant +2 and Ring of Dark Resistance +2 if you have them.
  8. 8
Use Dark and Dragon-type Pals. Astegon is recommended as it has both Dark and Dragon elements; use Dragon attacks on Necromus and Dark attacks on Paladius.
  9. 9
Other strong Pals include Frostallion Noct (Dark Skills, can inflict freeze), Shadowbeak (Divine Disaster skill), Lyleen Noct (Dragon-Type, can heal), and Hoocrates (increases Dark Pal damage by 20%).
  10. 10
Use food buffs like Rushoar Hot Dogs (+20% Defense), Eikthyrdeer Stew (+20% Defense), Omelet (+10% Attack), or Rushoar Bacon and Eggs (+10% Attack) made in the Electric Kitchen.
  11. 11
Lower their health enough to capture them using Legendary Spheres.
Tips
  • The Legendary Rocket Launcher can hit both Pals at once with careful positioning and can knock back and stun enemies.
  • If you don't have the Legendary Pal Metal Helmet schematic, use the Pal Metal Helm.
  • Accessories are low drops from Alpha Bosses; don't worry too much if you can't get them.
  • Astegon's Dragon attacks should only be used on Necromus, and its Dark attacks on Paladius.
  • Frostallion Noct can change your attack element to Dark, dealing more damage to Paladius.
  • Lyleen Noct can heal you while dealing damage to Necromus.
  • Hoocrates increases the damage of your Dark Pals by 20% when in the party.
