Complete walkthrough for the Nioh 2 main mission, 'The Village of Cursed Blossoms.' Includes enemy strategies, item locations, and tips for overcoming Enki and other challenges.
Walkthrough
- 1Advance forward and pick up the Amirita. Use the nearby shrine to level up your stats.
- 2Continue forward, pick up the Amirita from a corpse, and try to open the locked door (you cannot open it from this side). Follow the path to your left.
- 3Pick up the Amirita and fight the nearby Yokai.
- 4After defeating the Yokai, pick up the headpiece armor from the corpse it was on.
- 5Proceed and encounter a large enemy with a hammer-like sword. Avoid this enemy by staying out of its line of sight. Pick up the two Amirita in the area where it wanders.
- 6Once past the large enemy (under a cherry tree), turn left to pick up another Amirita. You will notice another locked door; ignore it.
- 7Go down the right path. At a small split, go straight, defeat the small Yokai, and open the gate.
- 8Return to the last split and go right. You will find a corpse with Amirita and a Kodama.
- 9Return to the Shrine. You can now unlock a healing blessing.
- 10Head back past the gate and across the bridge, defeating small Yokai and collecting Amirita.
- 11At the next fork, go into the forest path to the right.
- 12This leads to the back of a hut. Fight the two small Yokai there, collect the Amirita, and enter the hut from the back to collect all items, including those in the chest.
- 13Exit the hut from the front. You will face a sub-boss fight against Enki.
- 14Enki Strategy: Enki is a large gorilla-like enemy. Use Burst Counter effectively. To make the fight easier, store 100 Anima and unleash your Yokai Shift.
- 15After defeating Enki, return to the shrine to purify the Soul Core. This allows you to attune Enki's attack to your skill set. Enki will not reappear after using the shrine.
- 16Proceed past where you fought Enki. You will find three paths. Go slightly left to a path that leads to two dead ends (one is a cliff, the other faces a shack) and a Kodama. Speak to the Kodama to guide it back to the shrine, unlocking the Oracle blessing.
- 17Caution: Do NOT go under the wooden arch ahead, as you will be ambushed by two human-sized foes and an archer.
- 18Instead, take the right path from the shack. Defeat the two small Yokai (be careful, some can transform into larger ones). Try to avoid fighting them simultaneously.
- 19You will find a ledge from which you can ambush the archer. Alternatively, walk across the upper part of the wooden arch to reach a hidden path that bypasses the ambush. You will need to defeat one human enemy before proceeding.
- 20Human enemies are challenging; focus on managing your stamina and your opponent's to find openings for grapples or attacks.
- 21Continue advancing to reach a second shrine. This will be your new checkpoint.
- 22Advance from the second shrine. At a fork, one path leads to a dead end. Head towards the village.
- 23Cross the bridge, defeating the enemy on it and the one that appears upon entering the village. Beware of the archer. Lure the other enemy onto the bridge or beyond.
- 24Destroy crates and boxes to the left of the bridge to find a new path and potentially flank the archer.
- 25Another path from behind the house leads to a familiar gate and a dead-end river bridge with Amirita.
- 26Follow the path beyond the gate to a cliff overlooking the large hammer enemy from earlier. Lower the ladder here to create a shortcut to the first shrine.
- 27Return to the fork and follow the path with a fence to reach rooftops. Defeat enemies on the rooftops and find a ladder to lower.
- 28Head down the ladder, fight remaining enemies, enter houses, collect Amirita, and open chests.
