Advanced Tips & Tactics:

• Aggression is Key: Unlike earlier games, enemies here are relentless. Don't wait for openings; be proactive and keep the pressure on. Show them no mercy!
• Always Block: Seriously, this is vital. Blocking while staying evasive is your best defense. You can get through entire chapters taking minimal damage if you master this.
• Ultimate Technique, Not Obliteration: While Obliterations look cool, they're not always practical in a crowd. Focus on using Ultimate Techniques for sustained combat. Save Obliterations for when it's truly safe.
• Use Essence Wisely: Don't just absorb Essence because it's there. Its primary use is fueling your Ultimate Techniques. Use the floating Essence during fights to gain an edge. Only absorb it for health, money, or Ninpo if you absolutely need it.
• Defensive but Evasive: Never enter a new area without being ready to defend. Take down the immediate threats, but always keep moving and blocking.
• On-Land Charge: Charging an Ultimate Technique leaves you open. To speed it up, jump and press the [Y BUTTON] just as Ryu lands. This is much faster than manual charging.
• Learn the Counterattack: Sometimes blocking isn't enough. If you stand still while blocking, enemies can grab you. Dash while blocking to avoid this. Better yet, when an enemy attacks while you're blocking, press the attack button to counter. It takes practice, but it's a powerful offensive tool that can set you up for an Obliteration.
• Eliminate Weaker Threats First: When facing multiple enemies, you'll often have one or two flinging projectiles from a distance. These are your priority targets. Take them out first to avoid being distracted and overwhelmed. Remember, strategy over brute force!

Chapter 1: Sky City Tokyo

Area: Muramasa's Shop

Objective: Find Sonia

Welcome to Sky City Tokyo! As soon as the opening cutscene finishes, you're thrown straight into a fight. A group of Ninjas will appear, so get your guard up immediately! Focus on taking down the closest enemies first, then use the Essence they drop to fuel Ultimate Techniques against the remaining foes. Don't even think about trying to land Obliteration Techniques right now; it's too risky.

Once all the enemies are down, head into Muramasa's shop to trigger a cutscene. After that's all wrapped up, turn 180 degrees and head around the corner. You'll find the Save Statue there, ready for you to record your progress.
