Walkthrough

    Grab the Crystal Skull tied to the ropes on the watchtower on the right side of the river.

    Locate the JADE MASK behind the watchtower near the gate that opened in the cutscene. Open the chest to obtain it.

    Use the JADE MASK on the emblem on the wall to open a secret pathway. Dive down and swim to the next area.

    Emerge from the water in the PERUVIAN RIVERBANK - NORTH. Move forward to a dirty river.

    Jump and swing on the branches above the water to reach the next area.

    Upon landing, defeat the soldiers that appear.

    Continue forward to a dead end with a zipline above the trees.

    Jump to the zipline and traverse to the other side.

    Quickly move back to the dry surface and defeat the emerging rocket soldiers with arrows or Incendiary Shurikens.

    Take the zipline again. Near the other side, jump to a set of branches and then to a small dry surface.

    Find the hidden Muramasa's Statue and Crystal Skull #23 on this dry surface. Stock up if needed.

    Jump down to the water and return to the initial zipline.

    Take the zipline to the other side and jump down.

    As you ascend the short path, defeat the soldiers that appear to activate the Save Statue. Do not save yet.

    Locate a hidden area near the Save Statue (not the doorway area) containing a chest with an item. Grab it.

    Defeat the two additional soldiers that emerge. Now, save your game.

    Enter the next area to encounter Large Dung Beetles. Defeat them using strong combos and Ultimate Techniques (UT).

    Approach the large boulder where the beetles emerged and charge a UT to destroy it. Jump down to the area below.

    In the LIMESTONE CAVERN, you will encounter Skull Spiders. You can fight them or ignore them. Slice open stones in small caves on the left and right for Essence.

    Continue forward to trigger the BOSS BATTLE: THE BULLET WORM.

Boss Fight: The Bullet Worm

  • Attacks: WORM GRAB, WORM RUSH, THE NATCH SNATCH, WORM SPACKLE.
  • Strategy: Stand next to an open cave hole before attacking. Stand in the middle of the cavern and unleash Level 2 Ultimate Techniques (preferably with the Eclipse Scythe UT) at the worm's face. When you hear the boss approaching (like a speeding train), unleash the UT to stun it. Immediately evade into a nearby cave hole to avoid its attacks. Repeat this process. Do NOT use combos, as they will result in being grabbed and slammed.

After the battle, jump down the chasm to find a Save Statue.

In the POND SCUM area, numerous worms will emerge from the water. Avoid fighting them to conserve health items.
