Unlocking Fast Travel

From the Pavilion, head west to the "Cortex Center" using the upper walkway. Defeat the guard with a shield using a charge attack.

After a scene in a control room, you'll find yourself in the same room. Head left to find a Root Node.

Go left to a gate and send your fairy to hack a node.

Head up the ropes and grapple upwards, collecting a Treasure Chest on the right side at the top.

Head left and down. Look for a breakable rock to access the middle area. Hack down two ropes to reach a chest on the right.

Continue down the normal path, using grapple points. Drop a rope for a shortcut on the right, then drop down to a big chest containing the Kunlun Immortal Portrait.

Enter the "Factory (Great hall)". Navigate through flame trap floors and defeat enemies.

In the "CRAZY ROOM" with the giant laser, wait for it to end, then go south quickly. Kill the archer, go left to the center, and hit the machine that protects from the laser (after defeating the swordsman).

Collect a Treasure Chest in the lower left, then return. On the next cycle, head to the upper left, kill the archer, and find a Root Node.

Heal up and head left to hack a chest for a Standard Component. Navigate the next laser room by hitting the green device to your left, then get the Treasure Chest to your lower right. Drop down to the "Factory (Underground)".

Open the immediate Treasure Chest for the Swift Descent Jade.

Head right to exit back to the Factory and go left to unlock a door, creating a shortcut.

Go back to the underground and head left. Choose the right path to find the "Red Tiger Elite" mini-boss. Defeat him for a Standard Component and hack the console.

Head right to an area with spikes and a mechanical unit. Continue down, defeat the Shield Guardian to unlock 1/2 of a hidden treasure.

Head back up to the middle level and go left, ignoring the elevator. Go left to a Root Node. Use it to be transported back to your mentor.

Your mentor will grant you the mid-air dash ability.

Head back to where the broken machine was (right and up) and use your new air dash ability to reach the "Abandoned Mines Chip".

Continue right, staying on the upper path to find the "Evacuation Notice for Miners".

Go back and down when possible, heading southeast to the "Apeman Facility (Depths)" by hiding inside a container.

Navigate the "Apeman Facility (Depths)" and find a chest at the bottom containing money and the Fusang Amulet.

Continue right through a spike pit. Hack the rope and go down. Take note of the gap to the left but do not go there yet. Head right to find another Root Node.

From the Root Node, go up the left rope and dash left between spikes to find the mini-boss Celestial Specter: Shangui. Defeating him is not directly tied to fast travel but is a significant progression point.
