After accelerating from the start, be aware of rival racers attempting to sideswipe you.

Past the first checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death), take a shortcut by turning right onto a street, entering an alley, making a left through a gate, and then a left onto a ramp that returns you to the course.

After the checkpoint at Notre Dame Cathedral, turn left onto the nearby street, go through the alley at the end, over a ramp onto a river barge, and then jump to a tunnel on the lower riverside road. Do not use nitro in this tunnel to avoid going off course or hitting the top.

Once through the tunnel and past the next checkpoint, you can take the red ramp on the right or stick to the road on the left; the road is generally faster.

Follow the street route to the roundabout, cut left of the central monument, then right, and follow the road to its end where it T's. Turn right and head uphill to the checkpoint.

After the checkpoint, head down the hill to the east and hit the street in the southeast corner of the park area. Turn left at the end of this road.

There is a faster way: at the end of the road after leaving the park area, find an alley on the right. Go through this alley onto a ramp, jump through the checkpoint into a wire tunnel with a red floor.

After the tunnel, jump from the next roof near Notre Dame Cathedral. Do not use nitro on this ramp to avoid hitting the cathedral.

Upon landing, turn right at the cathedral, curve left into the park to reach the checkpoint.

Continue straight on this road, hit the alley, and follow it to a ramp that leads onto a river barge, which then launches you towards the plaza gates.

Cross the plaza and climb the hilly streets to the next checkpoint.

Burn through the park to its north end, turn right, and head east on the streets. Jump down the hills to the east and go through the street on that side of the park to reach the finish line.

Try for a Slip-stream Turbo (using the draft of other cars to build speed) immediately after the race begins in the narrow alley.

As you exit the alley and curve left towards a tunnel, watch out for hard-to-see rocks. Turn wide to dodge them and line up with the tunnel.

After exiting the tunnel and making a fast right onto a broad road, build top speed quickly. Aim for another Slip-stream Turbo or use a nitro early if necessary to keep up. Avoid crashing at these high speeds.

Around the Arc de Triumph roundabout, it's faster to loop around the sides rather than go through it. Be prepared for it to appear suddenly from the fog.

When you motor up a hill and turn southeast at a park, cut through the grass on the left for a shortcut, but watch out for trees.

When going against traffic near the Eiffel Tower, use the divider to avoid oncoming cars.

At the next roundabout, go through the arch to save time.

On the two-lane road past Notre Dame Cathedral, avoid high speeds to prevent crashes on the narrow road.

Be ready for a quick turnaround at the next roundabout and watch for lagging competitor cars.

Head back towards the riverside road and drop to the lower level where the checkpoint is.

After some distance on the lower road, get back up to street level and follow the street to the finish.
