Master the tricky 'Rollercoaster' and 'Twin Turbo' races in Midnight Club II. Get tips on recommended cars, shortcuts, and avoiding construction hazards.

Alright, let's talk about the JULIE races in Midnight Club II. These are the ones you gotta beat to unlock the next stage of your career. We've got two main challenges here: 'Twin Turbo' and 'Rollercoaster'.

Twin Turbo

For this course, you'll want to bring either the Boost or the Schneller V8. You don't get any special unlocks for winning this one, but it's a necessary step.

The layout here is basically a loop, and you can hit the checkpoints in either direction. I usually prefer heading right at the start. Why? Because most of the traffic will be going your way, making it a bit easier to navigate. Plus, you'll be better lined up for the finish line that way. If you go left, just be ready for some road construction near the end – those dark barricades are solid, so don't expect to smash through them!

As you get close to the finish, there's a ramp in front of an alley. You can either hit that ramp for some extra flair or just drive around it. I like hitting the ramp for the thrill, but be careful not to accidentally wall-bang it!

Rollercoaster

This one's a bit more intense. Recommended rides are the Boost or the Fripon X. Winning this race nets you the Bryanston V and unlocks the ability to race Stephane.

The start is seriously tricky. You've got all seven racers crammed onto a super narrow road, followed by two sharp turns. Your main goal here is to break away from the pack right at the start. If you don't, you'll likely get slammed into the walls. Try to nail a Slip-stream Turbo off the bat, but don't get so carried away that you overshoot those first two turns!

After you nail those initial turns, aim for the ramp that leads into the building on your right. It's the same building Blog used in his second race. Instead of taking a hard right inside, hug the glass wall on the left to find a different ramp.

You'll land in an alley that spits you out onto the road you need for the next checkpoint. Make a quick right at the end of the alley, then immediately turn left onto the street across the way to tag that checkpoint. Next, head right into another alley. At the end of this one, you'll jump down onto the freeway while heading left. Grab that checkpoint, then make another left into a gas station. Look for a ramp on the right side to get back up into the alley.

When you hit the end of this alley, you'll see a massive hill ahead. This is where you'll want to hit your nitrous to get some serious air. Aim slightly to the right of the checkpoint to avoid smashing into the building blocking it. Once you tag that checkpoint, you'll be facing two streets going downhill. Take the right one – it'll set you up perfectly for the finish line. After you blast down the hill, drive across the main road under the arches until you reach a roundabout. Keep an eye on your right for a ramp aimed at a big glass window.

Hit that ramp, fly through the window, and then crash through the next glass window at the end of the building. Boom! You're at the finish line.
