Walkthrough

    After selecting your Barrier specialist and Fire Team Leader 2, and an escort, inform the Barrier specialist you are ready.

    The specialist will stop and take cover when enemies approach. You will need to notify them when you are ready to proceed after each wave.

    The first encounter involves four Drones/Harbinger. Stay within the bubble and fight them at range.

    After defeating the Drones/Harbinger, inform the specialist you are ready to proceed.

    Next, four Husks and Abominations will attack from the north ledge.

    Shortly after, three more Drones/Harbinger will attack from the northeast. Notify the specialist when ready. Pick up the heatsinks from the previous drones.

    Continue forward until Husks/Abominations and a Scion attack. Stay mobile and prioritize clearing the Husks before the Scion reaches melee range. Use heavy weapons if necessary.

    After defeating these enemies, this is the final manual save point.

    The specialist will indicate they are tiring. Two Husks will climb the ledge to the northwest.

    As the specialist runs towards the final destination, one Abomination and one Husk will attack from the east/northeast. You can melee these enemies.

    Ensure you stay within the bubble as the pace quickens.

    After passing this area, you will be prompted to select your final team.
Tips
  • Only Jack or Samara/Morinth can handle the biotic bubble stress as a Barrier specialist.
  • The second Fire Team Leader can be Jacob, Miranda, or Garrus.
  • Almost any loyal teammate can serve as an escort, but they cannot be used for the final battle.
  • Stay mobile when fighting the Scion to avoid its deadly melee attack.
  • Do not forget to pick up the heatsinks dropped by the earlier drones.
