This mission, appearing on the galaxy map as 'Disable False Signal,' takes place on the planet Sanctum in the Sigurd's Cradle cluster. You'll only see Sigurd's Cradle on the map after finishing the MSV Strontium Mule quest.

Walkthrough

    Upon landing, expect four Blue Suns mercs to charge out of the main door. Immediately after, two waves of three troopers each will follow. Keep your shields up!

    Head inside the base. A squad of five Blue Suns, including a Commander, will attack. Shortly after, four more troopers will come from the north.

    You can find a wall safe with 1875 worth of credits in the south Living Quarters. After looting, proceed north and deal with the three troopers there.

    When you're ready, open the doors to the next area. A cutscene will play, revealing two YMIR Mechs. These are similar to the ones you might have encountered during Garrus's loyalty mission. Use heavy weapons, drones, AI Hacking, or any strategy that works for you. Be aware that the crate you start near offers poor cover as it can be destroyed quickly; find a more stable position.

    Right after you destroy both YMIR Mechs, Blue Suns reinforcements will pour in from the far rooms on both the north and south sides. Captain Naron will be among them. They advance quickly, so ensure your squad is healed up before finishing off the second mech. Expect two mercs from the north and three from the south. Taking cover in the northeast part of the room is your best bet.

    Ignore the door and instead head to the distress beacon. Overload it to complete the mission.
Tips
  • The enemies here have Shield and Armor defenses, so bring squadmates or weapons that can deal with those effectively.
  • Don't rely on the initial crate for cover when facing the YMIR Mechs.
  • Position yourself in the northeast of the final room to get the best angle on the incoming reinforcements, including Captain Naron.
