The Marvel Zombies event was a special PvE mode available during Season 4.5 from October 23, 2025, to January 16, 2026. It featured a unique Zombie Mode where up to four players battled hordes of undead and a final boss, The Queen of the Dead, in Midtown. Players could choose from modified versions of Thor, The Punisher, Magik, Blade, and Jeff the Land Shark, each with altered abilities and some new passives. The mode was not available for PlayStation 4 players due to performance limitations.

Standard Abilities (Modified for Event):

• Blade: No changes.
• Jeff the Land Shark: 'It's Jeff!' only swallows enemies and does not leave healing water. 'Hidden Undertow' damages and launches enemies. 'Vitality Bubble' can only be picked up by Jeff. 'Reviving Current' (New) passively converts damage dealt into healing, with excess becoming bonus health.
• Magik: 'Limbo's Might' passive ability is not listed but appears to be present.
• Thor: 'Electric Vitality' (New) passively converts damage dealt into healing, with excess becoming bonus health.
• The Punisher: 'Warrior's Gaze' passive ability is removed. 'Crisis Recovery' (New) passively converts damage dealt into healing, with excess becoming bonus health.

Map: Marvel Zombies: Midtown

Difficulties: Normal, Hard, Extreme, Nightmare I-IV.

Missions: Missions included daily login rewards for Holy Ankhs, first clear rewards for each difficulty (including sprays and units), and special solo clear missions for Nightmare III and IV as each hero, granting unique titles and units. Lanterns were also awarded for higher difficulty first clears, used in the Voyage to Astonish event.

Gameplay Loop: Players form a team of 1-4, choose heroes (duplicates allowed), and spend starting Moon Power on Khonshu's Blessings. They then face waves of zombies, earning more Moon Power by defeating enemies and completing wave missions. Preparation occurs between waves.
