The final encounter against Void Lord K'tharr is a multi-stage battle that tests every aspect of your party's preparation and execution. K'tharr's primary offensive capabilities revolve around void magic, capable of draining life force and inflicting 'Void Corruption', a debuff that deals damage over time and reduces maximum health by 10% per stack. His signature ability, Abyssal Grasp, targets a random party member, pulling them towards him and dealing continuous damage. This requires immediate attention from your tank or a swift counter-ability. K'tharr also summons Void Echoes, spectral copies of your own party members that mimic their abilities but deal void damage. These echoes must be prioritized and eliminated quickly, as they can quickly turn your own strengths against you. A well-placed Holy Smite from a Paladin can be particularly effective against these corrupted entities. Throughout the fight, K'tharr will periodically activate Nexus of Oblivion, creating zones on the battlefield that deal immense void damage to anyone standing within them. Constant repositioning is crucial. Your party should aim to have at least one character with high void resistance, perhaps through enchanted gear like the Amulet of Void Ward.
