As Crimson Archmage Xylos transitions into Phase 2, the intensity of the battle escalates significantly, demanding a more dynamic and reactive approach from your party. In this stage, Xylos often unleashes more potent area-of-effect (AoE) spells, such as a devastating Crimson Nova that can inflict massive damage across a wide radius. He may also begin to employ more complex magical constructs, like the volatile Arcane Golem, which possesses both high physical and magical defenses and can unleash powerful ground-shattering attacks. The key to surviving this phase lies in superior positioning and rapid threat assessment. When Xylos begins casting his AoE spells, your party members must be prepared to quickly reposition themselves to avoid the impact zones. This might involve using movement abilities or simply reacting swiftly to visual cues on the battlefield. The Arcane Golem, if summoned, becomes a high-priority target; its destructive potential can quickly turn the tide against you if left unchecked. Focus your strongest attacks on it, ideally with characters who can exploit its potential weaknesses, while ensuring your other party members continue to pressure Xylos.

Resource management becomes even more critical in Phase 2. Your healer will be under immense pressure to keep the party alive through the sustained AoE damage and the threat of the Arcane Golem.
