Start at a large traffic collision; find ammo, first-aid kits, and weapons in a car trunk.

Head down the highway, scanning the woods on either side for wandering Infected.

The bridge is down; head down the slope on either side of the road and go straight ahead across the ravine.

Climb one of the two ladders to reach the other side.

Navigate past parked cars and enter the tunnel.

Find an opening on the left to get a fuel can and a propane tank in an alcove opposite.

Use fuel and propane to fight Infected in the tunnel; search small rooms and alcoves for more fuel cans.

Watch for Smokers in the gaping hole in the ceiling.

At the end of the tunnel, go through the door to the left and follow the winding passage.

At two doors, take the one directly in front to enter a side room with a propane tank.

Use the propane tank in the next room, which usually has many Infected.

Find a table with ammo on the lower section of this room.

This large area may contain molotov cocktails, pipe bombs, pain pills, and fuel cans/propane tanks.

Head towards the opposite side of the room and exit into the wilderness.

Walk through the opening in the fence towards the building on the side to find a safe house.

Head to the bottom floor of the shaft to find an ammo cache and upgraded weapons.

Move through the sewage into a pipe leading to the floodgate room.

Tips

Scan the wooded areas on the sides of the highway to avoid surprise Infected.
Use fuel cans and propane tanks to your advantage in the tunnel.
Search small rooms and alcoves in the tunnel for valuable tools like fuel cans.
Watch the ceiling opening for puffs of green smoke indicating a Smoker.
Use all available tools in the large room before leaving, in case the Horde appears.
Bait Infected by quickly opening and closing the safe house door before shooting them.
The central drain pipe leads to the lower level of the shaft, while the pipe on the right leads to the top floor.
Refill on ammo and take an upgraded weapon before fighting the Horde in the shaft.
Use pipe bombs found on the green table in the floodgate room to clear the Horde.
If you encounter a Tank in the room with support beams, try to quickly climb the ladder on the right.
Gnarly Shortcut: While in the room with the support beams, ignore the ladder and go through the opening into the second half of the room. Climb up the overturned stairs on the side of the giant hole in the ceiling to bypass the warehouse.
