How to Beat The Kuon Entity (Final Boss)

Defeat the Kuon Entity: battle manifestations, exploit core exposure, and use Seimei's most powerful spells and items.

Location:

The deepest, most corrupted chamber of the Fujiwara Manor, after completing the Grand Exorcism ritual.

Phases & Attacks:

1. Phase 1 (Manifestations): The Entity will manifest as grotesque, shadowy figures, often resembling corrupted versions of previous enemies or even the protagonists. These manifestations have varied attacks.
2. Phase 2 (Core Exposure): After defeating several manifestations, the Entity's true core will briefly expose itself, vulnerable to attack. It will also unleash powerful, screen-wide spiritual attacks.
3. Phase 3 (Desperation): In its final stages, the Entity will become highly aggressive, combining all its previous attacks and potentially creating environmental hazards.

Strategy (Abe no Seimei):

This is the ultimate test. For Phase 1, use a combination of your most powerful offensive spells and the Exorcism Blade to quickly dispatch the manifestations. Prioritize targets that are most threatening. When the core is exposed in Phase 2, unleash everything you have – your strongest offensive spells, any remaining Explosive Talismans, and sustained attacks with the Exorcism Blade. During its screen-wide attacks, use your Barrier Spell or quickly find cover if available. In Phase 3, maintain constant pressure, manage your Ki with elixirs, and use any remaining Sacred Water. The key is to be relentless during its vulnerable phases and defensive during its powerful attacks. The True Ending might involve a specific final action or item use during this fight.

Weaknesses:

• Spiritual Energy: Highly vulnerable to Seimei's Onmyodo spells.
• Brief Vulnerability: Its core is exposed for short periods, requiring burst damage.

Rewards:

• Game Completion: Unlocks the ending sequence.
