Master Xehanort

Master Xehanort is the toughest Limitcut boss in Kingdom Hearts III. Learn his attack patterns, weaknesses, and strategies to overcome him.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Master Xehanort is the final boss of the Limitcut episode.
• He incorporates attacks from previous Limitcut bosses.
• Focus on dodging over blocking for most attacks.

Phases:

1. Opening Attacks: Master Xehanort begins by summoning blockable Comets, followed by Twin Lasers that create an unblockable web of lasers. Dodge these after blocking the initial Comet.
2. Keyblade Toss: He may toss his Keyblade, creating a Frost Explosion. This can be blocked with precise timing, allowing for a counter-attack. Be ready to dodge again as he often chains this into his lasers.
3. Teleport Combo: Xehanort teleports through Keyholes and launches himself for a combo. This is another opportunity to block and counter.
4. Arena Transformation (Light Pillars & Spheres): The arena may transform, with Pillars of Light circling. He will then use Sphere attacks, large objects that spin towards Sora and can freeze him. These cannot be blocked; dodge them and look for an opening after the fifth sphere.
5. Enhanced Lasers: After the arena transformation, he may use larger Lasers, indicated by the appearance of large Cannons. These also cannot be blocked, so dodge immediately.
6. Desperation Move: Signaled by a large mark on the ground, this phase involves multiple clones and lasers. Balance blocking Keyblade strikes and dodging lasers. This is a difficult phase that may require many attempts to master. The Link trick can be used to skip this phase if necessary.

Strategy:

• Prioritize dodging, especially against his laser attacks and Sphere attacks.
• Block the initial Comets and look for openings to counter-attack after his Keyblade Toss if timed correctly.
• Be prepared for rapid attack chains, such as the Keyblade Toss into lasers.
• Learn the visual cues for his powerful attacks, like the Cannons for enhanced lasers and the ground mark for his Desperation Move.
• If struggling with the Desperation Move, consider using the Link trick to bypass it and focus on mastering the earlier phases.
