Stats / Weaknesses:

• Marluxia's scythe combos have unblockable final hits.
• His Rose Drones can be destroyed with one hit or blocked.
• Firaga can instantly break his temporary armor.

Phases:

1. Marluxia's Scythe Combos: He'll teleport in for a series of scythe swings. Most are blockable, but the very last hit glows red – make sure to dodge that one!
2. Scythe Throw: When he backs away, he'll toss his scythe. Block it, then deflect it as it comes back. After that, dodge roll away from the final, unblockable return swing. This is a great opening to attack him.
3. Rose Explosions: He'll teleport to you and cause explosions under your feet. Dodge roll to the side to avoid them, and be ready for more unblockable scythe attacks that can follow.
4. Rose Drones: These float above Sora and fire projectiles. You can block them, but they're easily destroyed with a single hit. A Thundaga spell is super effective here.
5. Pools of Darkness: As the fight progresses, he'll create dark pools that try to pull you in. Just keep dodge rolling away from them. This often ends with him jumping and creating a shockwave upon landing – jump over it!
6. Armor: If Marluxia glows, he has temporary armor. You can break it instantly with Firaga, or just wait it out.
7. Doom Counter: This is his most dangerous move, usually signaled by him rising into the air. He'll whisper, and a 15-second timer appears. You need to strip his armor by attacking him – Air Step is great for getting close and comboing. Avoid the center as a darkness pool pulls you in. Use the Situation Command 'Dispel' to break out of this.
8. Final Doom Counter: After you deplete his HP, he'll trigger one last Doom Counter, this time with a 9-second timer. Be ready!

Strategy:

• Stay mobile and be ready to dodge, especially the final hit of his scythe combos and his teleporting attacks.
• Use Thundaga to quickly clear out the Rose Drones.
• Don't underestimate the Scythe Throw; dodging it gives you a good window to attack.
• When the Doom Counter starts, prioritize stripping his armor. Air Step and aggressive combos are key.
• Firaga is your best friend for quickly removing his temporary armor.
• Even though he seems tough, Marluxia is one of the more manageable Limitcut bosses because of the openings he provides. Just stay focused, especially during the Doom Counter phases!
