Learn about all 10 Keep Driving game types, including Race, Shakedown, Eliminator, Heatwave, Road Rage, Survival, Face Off, Pursuit, and GP.

There are a total of 10 different Game Types in Keep Driving. The objectives of these events will be explained in the actual events in the career itself.

Race
A typical race to the finish. You race with 5 other drivers, and the first one to the finish line wins. There are 8 total Races in the game.

Shakedown
A single lap race, where you are given a pre-selected vehicle in the same series you're in, and beat the target times to progress. These events are all based on your driving skills, so try your best to not crash! There are 4 Shakedowns in the game.

Shakedown Preview
Just like Shakedown, except you are given a pre-selected vehicle in the higher classes. Beat the target times to advance. There are 5 Shakedown Previews in total.

Eliminator
A 5 lap race, but the person in last place after every lap is out of the race. This continues until there's 1 driver remaining. There are 5 Eliminators in the game.

Heatwave
Chain Heatwaves in order to stay in front, and don't be left in the dust! If you crash, your boost will be empty the next time you spawn (respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death)). These events usually take a while to finish, and there are 7 of these in the Tour.

Road Rage
A Takedown-fest of an event! No laps, just keep taking other drivers down until time expires, or you are totaled. There are 10 Road Rages in the game.

Survival
One crash or if time expires before you reach the next checkpoint (a designated point in the race that saves your progress), and it'll be an early end. There are 5 of these in the Tour.

Face Off
You versus against another driver. Finish before him to win his car. This is the most common way to unlock all cars in the game. There are 13 of these in the Tour, and the most events out of any other in the game.

Pursuit
You drive a Cop vehicle and try to stop one, or multiple targets before they escape, you run out of time, or are 500m from you. Successfully get their health down to 1 and take them down to win. This is the only mode that can unlock the other two Cop Cars in the game. There are 6 of these, one in each class.

GP
A series of 3 races. The driver with the most points at the end of the Grand Prix wins, and moves on to the next class. 6 of these, one in each class, are always the final event before moving onto the next class.

Tips
  • Certain event types (Shakedown, Shakedown Preview, Eliminator, Road Rage, Survival, Pursuit) have a hidden Platinum Medal goal that is optional.
  • There are 30 Platinum Medals out of the 69 events in the Career.
  • Gold is generally the best medal you can get in all events, with Platinum being optional.
