Walkthrough
- 1Your first objective is to position a Rhino directly in front of your base. Request a Rhino from the drop pad north of your base and drive it over. ODST soldiers will arrive to defend it, but you cannot control them.
- 2Defend your base from constant Banshee attacks. Destroying 50 Banshees unlocks the level's skull, located in a hangar behind the base.
- 3To aid in defense, garrison the two reactors near your base (one north, one south) to gain technology upgrades.
- 4The second Rhino position is to your west, slightly south of the first. Destroy the Covenant base camp located there to reveal the position and place the second Rhino.
- 5Anders will inform you that more Rhinos are needed. A third location requires you to drop in with a Pelican. Clear the landing pad of enemies and place a Rhino there.
- 6After the first three Rhinos fire and temporarily collapse the shield, more Rhinos will be needed. Locusts, which function like mini Scarab tanks, will appear. Use Cobra tanks and Scorpions to counter them, as infantry are ineffective.
- 7The last two Rhino positions will be heavily armored. A population of around 20 is recommended. If you have captured a Locust, it will be very helpful here.
- 8Position the final two Rhinos. Once all Rhinos are in place, the shield will be destroyed.
- 9You will then control the MAC cannon. Focus on destroying air defenses and shield generators. After these are eliminated, Serina will destroy all remaining targets with a full MAC cannon burst.
Tips
- Destroying 50 Banshees earns you the skull for the level.
- Garrisoning the two reactors near your base provides early technology advantages.
- Cobra tanks and Scorpions are the best offense against Locusts.
- For the final two Rhino positions, a population close to 20 is recommended.
