Navigate Gran Turismo 7's Menu Books 15-19 with our comprehensive guide. Learn about Camaro, Nissan, and Japanese sports cars, Trial Mountain Cup, and more.
Menu Book 15: Camaro
Acquire 3 cars: Chevrolet Camaro SS '16, Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 '18. Clear reward: 2 star roulette ticket.
Corresponding series: American Sunday Cup 600, no PP limit, road cars from the USA.
| Track | # of laps | Prize (cash) | Prize (car) |
| Blue Moon Infield A | 3 | Cr 15,000 | Camaro ZL1 '18 |
| Daytona Tri-Oval | 3 | Cr 15,000 | Camaro Z28 '69 |
| Willow Springs Big Willow | 3 | Cr 15,000 | Camaro SS '16 |
Similar races to before, just with slightly faster opposition. If you're still using the car you used in the last menu book, or another car you won from it, this is when RWD's getting loose on corner exit will become a noticeable issue. Be ready to combat it with gentle throttle use and countersteer, or you can turn traction control up to make the car easier to drive at the cost of less responsive acceleration.
Menu Book 16: Take a Photo of Your Car in Scapes
Clear reward: unlock Trial Mountain.
Another simple and self-explanatory task that introduces you to a certain aspect of the game. Scapes is a mode that lets you take some great pictures of your cars in scenic locations, but unless you're PSN trophy hunting, this is the only time you need to use the feature at all.
Menu Book 17: Trial Mountain Cup
You'll have to return to the licence centre first if you haven't already acquired the National A licence. This is the last licence you need to get to complete the rest of the menu books;
A-1: Racing Line Beginner 1, long sweeper at Tsukaba, avoid turning in too early.
A-2: Racing Line Beginner 2, double left at DT Gardens, treat it as one turn, beware the FWD understeer.
A-3: Racing Line Beginner 3, another FWD so do most of your cornering before going full throttle.
A-4: Urban Tracks 1, any contact with the wall is an instant fail so don't expect to clear this first try.
A-5: Cornering in the Wet Beginner, you'll need to slow to below 90km/h, and be careful around the slippery kerbs.
A-6: Consecutive Corners Beginner 1, Ascari at Monza, take the first two kinks a bit slower to set up the third.
A-7: Consecutive Corners Beginner 2, don't go wide too early in the last sweeping bend.
A-8: Dirt Driving Beginner, you can use the grass here at Colorado as extra track width to maintain speed.
A-9: Hairpins, you'll need to continue braking whilst turning in and hit the apex accurately if you want to reach that gold time.
A-10: Racing Line Basics, combines consecutive corner and hairpin techniques at Autopolis, once again demands precision to get gold.
Passing the A licence will award you the Volkswagen Scirocco R, and if you get all gold, a Subaru BRZ STI Sport also. And now, the Trial Mountain Cup...
Finish 3rd or higher in the championship. 2 rounds, no PP limit (suggested 600), road cars from the USA. Clear reward: Unlock Fuji, Autopolis, and the Legend Cars dealership.
| Track | # of Laps | |
| Round 1 | Trial Mountain | 2 |
| Round 2 | Trial Mountain Reverse | 2 |
| Cash prize (race win) | Cr 20,000 |
| Cash prize (championship) | Cr 40,000 |
The "shirt" came out the other end of GT7's track redesigns with double length front and back straights and a new final chicane, but Trial Mountain is otherwise how we remember it. This championship shouldn't be too difficult, with Solis in the lead Viper having a relatively modest 561 PP, and the car/s you used in the Sunday Cup 600 already being up to the standard necessary to win.
The prize cards this time are rewards unique to this championship; a Nissan 180SX, Nissan Fairlady Z '89, and Nissan Silvia K's. All three cost roughly 50-60k from used cars otherwise, with the Fairlady having the best performance in stock trim.
Menu Book 18: Nissan Sports Cars
Acquire 3 cars: Nissan Silvia spec-R (S15) '02, Nissan R32 GT-R '94, Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33) '07. Clear reward: unlock Mount Panorama, Kyoto Driving Park.
Corresponding series: Japanese Clubman Cup 550, no PP limit, road cars from Japan.
| Track | # of laps | Prize (cash) | Prize (car) |
| Autopolis International | 3 | Cr 20,000 | Nissan Fairlady Z |
| Fuji Speedway | 3 | Cr 20,000 | Nissan R32 GT-R |
| Tokyo South Counterclockwise | 3 | Cr 20,000 | Nissan Silvia spec-R |
This next portion of the cafe campaign consists of three regional legs of four books each, culminating in a regional championship each time. For the start of the Asia-Oceania leg, you should have a few choices available to you, though they'll all likely require more tuning. Aim for a balance between power and grip, and also avoid the trap of racing slicks for now because Fuji has a chance of being wet, and if you have slicks in that scenario you'll helplessly spin off and lose.
Menu Book 19: Japanese Rally Base Cars
Acquire 3 cars: Subaru WRX STI Type S '14, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution '15, Toyota GR Yaris RZ '20. Clear reward: 3 star roulette ticket.
Corresponding series: Japanese 4WD Challenge 600, no PP limit, 4WD road cars from Japan.
| Track | # of laps | Prize (cash) | Prize (car) |
| Kyoto Yamagiwa | 2 | Cr 20,000 | Toyota GR Yaris |
| Mount Panorama Circuit | 2 | Cr 20,000 | Mitsubishi Lancer |
| Trial Mountain Circuit | 2 | Cr 20,000 | Subaru WRX STI |
The game suggests 600, but I think these races are winnable with 550 PP or less. In fact the Nissan R32 you won from the last menu book can probably do it with just a change to better tyres. Mount Panorama is the only challenging race of the three, and that's more down to the track being narrow and relatively unforgiving. Even then, the AI is very slow through sector 3, allowing you to gain a lot of time if you can avoid hitting them as you overtake.
