The Undead Champion — Gloria Victis Walkthrough

Face the Undead Champion in Gloria Victis. Learn its Corrupted Cleave attack and how it summons minions in contested territories like Lord's Wrath Abbey.

Location: Typically spawns in ruined castles or ancient burial grounds in contested territories, such as 'Lord's Wrath Abbey' or 'Scarsdale'. Its appearance is announced globally.

Phases & Abilities:

1. Corrupted Cleave: A powerful frontal attack that deals necrotic damage and applies a 'Wither' debuff, reducing healing received.
2. Summon Minions: Periodically summons waves of weaker Undead Soldiers to assist him. These must be dealt with quickly by AoE damage dealers.
3. Unholy Ground (AoE Zone): Creates a pulsating area on the ground that deals continuous necrotic damage to anyone standing in it. Players must move out of this zone immediately.
4. Grave Grasp (Root): Roots a random player in place, making them vulnerable to other attacks. Can be broken by specific abilities or focused damage.

Strategy:

• Tanks: Hold aggro and position the Champion away from the group. Be mindful of the 'Wither' debuff and communicate with healers.
