The Rescue

Location: Where your Marital Home is.

Walkthrough

    Get married: Go to Oakfield and use Flirty and Fun expressions on someone of the opposite gender until their heart above their head turns red. Give them a decent ring (good rings can be bought at the Jeweller in Bowerstone Market) by pressing Down on the D-Pad when the appropriate icon appears.

    Lead your spouse to a home you own and set it as your Marital Home using the paper by the door.

    Use the "Come Back To My Place" expression (purchased from "Fiction Burns" in Bowerstone Market) on your spouse.

    Once your spouse has the Follow icon, go to your bed in your Marital Home and press A to sleep.

    Choose Unprotected Sex.

    Fast travel away, then return to your spouse. Your child should now be grown up. Repeat this process until you receive the "The Rescue" quest.

    Travel to the region your Marital Home is in and follow the glowing trail to your spouse. Accept the quest to rescue your child.

    Travel to Rookridge, The Hobbe Cave. Fight through the Hobbe-infested tunnels, following the glowing trail.

    In a room with cages, defeat the Hobbes to get the Hobbe Cage Key. Press A on your child's cage to open it.

    Fight your way out of the cave with your child, following the glowing trail.

    Exit the cave via the ladder to Rookridge, where your spouse will be waiting.

The Hit

Location: Brightwood

Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Travel to Brightwood and follow the glowing trail to the Highwaymen's Guild. Fight through the Highwaymen you encounter.

    The trail will lead you off the beaten path into an area called the Forsaken Fortress.

    Go up the stairs into the Fortress. Fight the attackers and follow Darius.
  4. 4
    Continue following Darius up more steps, fighting Highwaymen along the way.
  5. 5
    Cross the stone bridge, turn left, and go down the spiral staircase into an area with water.
  6. 6
    Defeat the remaining Highwaymen and Darius.
