EverQuest II features an extensive Achievement system and numerous Collections, providing long-term goals and rewards beyond traditional questing. These systems encourage exploration, completionism, and often reveal hidden lore.

Achievements:

Achievements are categorized into various types, including:

• Exploration: Discovering all areas in a zone.
• Questing: Completing specific quest lines or a certain number of quests.
• Combat: Defeating a certain number of enemies, specific bosses, or achieving combat milestones.
• Tradeskilling: Reaching tradeskill levels or crafting specific items.
• Collections: Completing item collections.
• Feats of Strength: Challenging or rare accomplishments.

Completing achievements often rewards you with titles, unique appearance items, experience, or even permanent stat bonuses. You can track your progress in the Achievement window (default key: L).

Collections:

Collections involve finding and gathering specific sets of items scattered throughout Norrath. These items are typically small, glowing objects that can be clicked on. Each collection has a theme (e.g., 'Lost Coins of Antonica', 'Fae Flora').

• Finding Collection Items: They are often found in specific zones, sometimes in obscure locations. They respawn over time.
• Rewards: Completing a collection typically grants experience, coin, and sometimes a unique house item or a temporary buff. More importantly, completing collections often contributes to achievement progress.

Both achievements and collections offer a satisfying sense of accomplishment and provide a reason to revisit older zones or explore every nook and cranny of Norrath. They are excellent ways to extend your gameplay and discover more about the rich world of EverQuest II.
