Combat Knife

The Combat Knife is a last resort; relying on it exclusively means you are likely to fail.

Colt 1911

A basic handgun, only use if you run out of ammo for your primary firearm.

Machine Guns

Machine guns are large weapons that can only be used in the prone position and consume a significant amount of ammunition. They are effective for concentrating fire in a specific area, ideally where many enemies are present. It is advisable to have a second soldier provide cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) for the gunner. For most missions, it is recommended to have at least one soldier equipped with a machine gun. The specific models listed share similar functionality.

Sub Machine Guns (SMGs)

SMGs are versatile, all-around weapons. Every member of your squad should ideally have an SMG for every mission. While they can go through ammunition quickly, it is not as fast as regular machine guns. They are useful in various situations, especially when supporting a soldier using a regular Machine Gun or Sniper Rifle.

Rifles

Rifles are medium-range weapons. In most situations where a rifle could be used, a sniper rifle would be a superior choice.

• Johnson M41 (Effective Range: 400m)

Sniper Rifles

Sniper Rifles are arguably the most crucial weapons. They allow you to eliminate enemies from a distance, often before they can detect you. This is highly beneficial as you are frequently outnumbered and would struggle in a direct firefight. Sniper rifles enable you to neutralize enemies one by one with minimal noise. Mastering their use is essential.

• Lee Enfield Mk.4 (Effective Range: 800m) - This is the rifle you start with.
• K 98 (Effective Range: 1500m) - Pick up the K98 from enemy snipers.

Bazookas

Bazookas are effective for missions requiring the destruction of targets. While not ideal for stealth missions, they are invaluable when objectives involve demolition. Note that while Timed Explosives are often required for stationary structures, Bazookas can also be used in certain scenarios. Carrying a bazooka limits other equipment options. A good combination is a Bazooka with an SMG as the primary weapon. Similar to Machine Guns, the first press of the fire button prepares the weapon, and a second press fires it.

Grenades

Grenades are useful for eliminating groups of enemies, clearing rooms and buildings, and destroying environmental objects. When throwing a grenade, hold the fire button to determine the throwing strength, ranging from 10% to 100%.

Mines

Mines are excellent for ambushing enemy troops and vehicles.

• Anti-Tank Mine - Designed for damaging armored vehicles with a concentrated explosion.
• Anti-Infantry Mine - Designed to damage as many enemies as possible with a dispersed explosion.

Timed Explosive

Timed Explosives are used frequently for objectives requiring the destruction of enemy installations. To set an explosive, open your inventory, highlight the explosive, select it, and your soldier will place it in front of them. You can adjust the timer using the D-pad. Once set, press the fire button again to start the countdown and immediately move to a safe distance. Ensure all soldiers are clear of the blast radius before detonation, as one explosion can trigger others. A safe distance is crucial.
