Alright, so you've seen the intro scenes and you're finally stepping off the boat into Dunwall. Corvo's in the house! As you cross that bridge, you'll meet Emily, the Empress' daughter. She's got a little optional task for you – a game of hide-and-seek. Think of it as your first taste of the game's cover system, a good way to get a feel for things before the real chaos begins.

If you decide to play along, just follow her down under the bridge and keep an eye out for the prompts that pop up on screen. Emily will run up to you and ask you to play. Even if you're itching to get going, it's worth it to get used to the controls and how to sneak around and hide. Once you're done with that little game, head back up the stairs and keep pushing forward until you reach the gazebo. That's where you'll meet the Empress. After a brief scene, you'll have to defend yourself against some guys who just seem to appear out of nowhere. Stick with it for a few moments, and another scene will play, wrapping up the prologue.
